POWERLESS: NBC Orders Pilot for DC Universe Comedy

DC Universe Office

NBC Picks Up Pilot Order for Powerless. DC Comics is ready to show viewers a different side to the superhero universe as NBC has given a pilot order for Powerless. The series will be a workplace comedy that would explore a very different side to DC Universe.

With many superhero shows on TV, the genre has been dominating the small screen for a while. NBC is now willing to go back into that route with Powerless, as the network has given a pilot order, according to Deadline. In the style of The Office in a world of superheroes, Powerless will be set in the DC Universe in a world “full of superheroes, villains and people just like us.” The basic plot also adds that Powerless is going to be, “an office comedy about the exceedingly average employees at an insurance company and their quest to find their own power.”

It’s still a mystery whether any familiar heroes and villains would show up in the series, but the series sounds interesting to say the least. If it is ordered to series, we can probably expect NBC to air it sometime this fall. What do you guys think? Would you watch Powerless when it airs?
