God’s trail takes something of a circle chase detour, for the next installment of Preacher. The ‘Sokosha’ trailer has The Saint of Killers (Graham McTavish) finally tracking down his quarry; but his dogged pursuit prompts Jesse (Dominic Cooper) & Co. to go looking into TSK’s past, while events surrounding a heist – involving a rather conspicuous Technician (James Kyson) – add a wrinkle to the whole affair.
Well, this all sounds like just the thing a hearty pancake breakfast is called for, doesn’t it.
The ‘Sokosha’ clip highlights a typically rambly, overlaying breakfast conversation, as Jesse goes over mission prospects with Tulip (Ruth Negga) & Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun). If you were to say that highlights included Jesse’s mastery of split subject matter, and his shutting down Tulip’s waived right to jealousy, well, you’d be way off.
This is all just the preamble, before an uninvited guest brings a more leaded meal to the table. Thanks for playing.
For what it’s worth, Allie (Stella Allen) does get the +1 treatment, when said company calls; and she may even be smart enough to see another breakfast, for it.
Frankly, I think this week’s round of promos are a little on the spoilery side; but if the trailer & clip doesn’t spoil enough for you, have a side of synopsis.
