Psychokinesis Trailer
Sang-ho Yeon‘s Psychokinesis / Yeom-lyeok (2018) movie trailer stars Yu-mi Jung, Do-yoon Kim, Seung-ryong Ryu, Eun-kyung Shim, and Yeong-gi Jeong. Psychokinesis‘ plot synopsis: “A father sets out to save his troubled daughter with superpowers that he discovers he possesses. Suk-Hun (Seung-ryong Ryu) happens to gain a supernatural power. He tries to save his daughter Roo-Mi (Eun-kyung Shim) after she gets involved in an unexpected accident.”
The stripped down nature of this superhero film (if it can be called that), at least at its beginning, reminds me of Unbreakable. The good part about the plot of Psychokinesis are some of its more realistic aspects e.g. the government’s response to someone with Suk-Hun (Seung-ryong Ryu)’s abilities.
