The plot synopsis for Paco Plaza‘s [REC] Genesis a.k.a. [REC] 3: Genesis: “The action now takes place miles away from the original location and partly in broad daylight giving the film an entirely fresh yet disturbing new reality. The infection has left the building. In a clever twist that draws together the plots of the first two movies this third part of the saga also works as a decoder to uncover information hidden in the first two films and leaves the door open for the final installment the future, [REC] Apocalypse (to be directed by Jaume Balaguero).” The wedding dress [REC] Genesis movie poster is pretty cool. The american remakes, Quarantine and Quarantine 2: Terminal, I heard the first one was okay but I will stick with the originals. I am also glad they are enlarging the horror storyline in [REC] Genesis but keeping close to the [REC] series’ roots as well. It will be interesting to see how they accomplish that outside of a closed-in environment. [REC] Genesis will

expand upon the first moving the story into the light of day where the virus has gone mobile, moving the action out of the quarantined building and into the countryside. Clearly we’re safe to assume this outbreak is going to make this wedding turn into a bride’s worst nightmare. The teaser poster makes a pretty solid nod to that. Director Paco Plaza returns to the franchise he birthed and plans on unveiling even more clues and information as to what this infection is all about.
