Return Trailer. Liza Johnson‘s Return (2011) movie trailer stars Linda Cardellini, Michael Shannon, John Slattery, Talia Balsam, and Emma Rayne Lyle. Return‘s plot synopsis: “When Kelli returns home from war, she expected to slowly but surely settle back into her life with her husband and kids in the small town she grew up in. But she gradually realizes that the life she left behind is no longer there waiting for her.”
The instant I started watching this movie trailer I thought of Brothers and Homeland, both dealing with returning war veterans. Linda Cardellini looks as though she digs deep here.
Return also stars Paul Sparks, Louisa Krause, James Murtaugh, Rutanya Alda, Bonnie Swencionis, Edward Crawford, and Jennifer Olivera.
