In this trailer, Lemony Snicket (Daniel Handler) attempts to talk the viewer out of watching the upcoming TV series. Interesting approach. Snicket’s diction is very interesting, speaking to a high-end education (which reminded me of the first chapter of Cloud Atlas). Barry Sonnenfeld directed the first episode (The Bad Beginning: Part One) of A Series of Unfortunate Events.
Readers of the book series will have to wait to see actual footage from the series when the full trailer for it is released.
