Sicario Day of the Soldado Trailer 2
Columbia Pictures has released the second movie trailer for Sicario: Day of the Soldado (2018). I thought Sicario was a good film. Others thought it was a great film or fantastic i.e. everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion. The first two-thirds of the second trailer for Sicario: Day of the Soldado really had me looking forward to this sequel. Columbia Pictures decision to include ‘The Turn’ in this trailer was misguided. The trailer didn’t need it. The trailer was great before it got to that point.
‘The Turn’ in Sicario: Day of the Soldado, in the mid-to-third act of this film, is okay, it adds a new dynamic to the film but it would have been better, in my opinion, if Alejandro (Benicio Del Toro) was completely cold-blooded, had been completely turned by the death of his family. Unfortunately, that is not what the viewer will be getting with Sicario: Day of the Soldado.
Sicario 2: Soldado‘s plot synopsis: “In Sicario 2: Soldado, the drug war on the US-Mexico border has escalated as the cartels have begun trafficking terrorists across the US border. To fight the war, federal agent Matt Graver (Josh Brolin) reteams with the mercurial Alejandro (Benicio Del Toro).”
Stefano Sollima‘s Sicario: Day of the Soldado stars Josh Brolin, Matthew Modine, Isabela Moner, Jeffrey Donovan, Christopher Heyerdahl, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Ian Bohen, Rachel de la Torre, Jake Picking, David Castaneda, Sharon Anne Henderson, Abigail Marlowe, and Bruno Bichir.
