The Avengers Alternate Opening Deleted Scene. Joss Whedon‘s The Avengers (2012) Blu-ray deleted scene: alternate opening movie clip stars Cobie Smulders and Chris Evans. The alternate opening scene uses the classic plot device of showing the ending of the film first then showing then showing what led up to that eventuality.
The Avengers’ alternate opening also gives S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) a larger role in the film and additional dialogue. I like the ending of the scene with Hulk screaming, intense. That and New York after the last battle would have definitely added more realism to the film, realism that it needed. Why does Agent Hill, in “post-battle debriefing”, refer to the The Avenegrs team as superheros? On second though, forget it, sorry. I have my thinking cap on. Disregard.
