Song Kang-ho in Park Chan-wook’s Thrist

The first picture for Park Chan-wook‘s 12th film, Thirst, has showed up over at bloody-disgusting. If you seen Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, Oldboy (a modern-day classic), Lady Vengenace or I‘m a Cyborg, But That’s OK, you are fully aware of what a great director Park Chan-wook is and what he is capable of behind the camera. The story of Thirst “finds […] Song Kang-ho, as a much-loved priest who becomes a vampire after a failed medical experiment; he becomes a tortured and depraved soul. [The] title [Thrist] refers to a craving for sex, blood and love.” Thirst will be released sometime in 2009, hitting South Korea first then receiving a limited theatrical here in the States.
