The Space Battleship Yamato (2010) Movie Trailer has premiered. Space Battleship Yamato is live-action anime remake directed by Takashi Yamazaki and stars Meisa Kuroki, Takuya Kimura, Toshiro Yanagiba, Hiroyuki Ikeuchi, and Naoto Ogata. Space Battleship Yamato‘s plot synopsis: “The crew of the Space Battleship Yamato set out on a journey to the planet Iscandar to acquire a device that can heal the ravaged Earth.” I saw most of Yamazaki’s Returner and I am looking forward to what he does with this former anime series. Space Battleship Yamato will be released in theater in Japan on December 1, 2010.
