The video The Women of Spartacus for the second season of Spartacus: Blood and Sand entitled Spartacus: Vengeance is about the female heroines and villains in the upcoming season. They include: “Lucy Lawless (Lucretia), Viva Bianca (Ilithyia), Katrina Law (Mira), and Hanna Mangan Lawrence (Seppia). The Women of Spartacus goes into how “the women of Spartacus: Vengeance shape this season”.

Watching Lucretia and Ilithyia fight, Ilithyia about to kill Lucretia, is a confrontation that has been brewing since the middle of the first season of Spartacus: Blood and Sand. I am looking forward to what Seppia brings to the table as well.

The Third Servile War (73-71 BC), also called the Gladiator War and The War of Spartacus by Plutarch, was the last of a series of unrelated and unsuccessful slave rebellions against the Roman Republic, known collectively as the Roman Servile Wars. The Third Servile War was the only one to directly threaten the Roman heartland of Italy and was doubly alarming to the Roman people due to the repeated successes of the rapidly growing band of rebel slaves against the Roman army between 73 and 71 BC.
Spartacus: Vengeance will also star Liam McIntyre, Manu Bennett, Peter Mensah, Dustin Clare, Gareth Williams, Nick E. Tarabay, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, and John Hannah.
