New Spider-Man Reboot May Include Kraven the Hunter as the Main Villain. With a new Spider-Man movie to come out from Marvel Studios and Sony, the question remains on who the villain will be. Well, who better than Kraven the Hunter to go toe-to-toe against Spidey.
Heroic Hollywood got some unconfirmed information about which Big Bad will Tom Holland face when he puts on the costume as the web slinger. Their source reported that Sony’s VP of Creative Affairs, Karen Moy, was spotted purchasing a copy of Kraven’s Last Hunt on Amazon.
As comic book fans know, Kraven’s Last Hunt is known to be one of the best Spider-Man stories ever told, and it would definitely be a great source of inspiration for the new film. Perhaps Karen Moy is enjoying some light reading after knowing how good the story is? Whatever the case, at least Sony is considering to include the famous villain in the reboot. Hopefully, we can rely on the writing team of John Francis Daly and Jonathan Goldstein to come up with some good storylines for Spider-Man.
Directed by Jon Watts, the new Spider-Man film arrives in theaters May 6, 2016.
