Terry Serpico, Maulik Pancholy, And Sam Vartholomeos Cast In Star Trek: Discovery

CBS has added Army WivesTerry Serpico, WeedsMaulik Pancholy, and The Following‘s Sam Vartholomeos to the cast of Star Trek: Discovery.

Each of the newly-announced actors has additional experience in film and TV aside from the aforementioned examples. In addition to Army Wives, Serpico has also appeared in Rescue Me and Sneaky Pete, while Vartholomeos also had a minor role in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. As for Pancholy, he is widely recognizable to audiences as Jonathan, the excitable assistant of Alec Baldwin‘s character on 30 Rock.
Joining a cast that includes, among others, Doug Jones and Anthony Rapp, Serpico will play the high-ranking Admiral Anderson in the series. Meanwhile, Pancholy will portray Chief Medical Officer Dr. Nambue and Vartholomeos will play Starfleet greenhorn Ensign Connor.
