The Strain: Madness Trailer

FX’s The Strain Madness TV show trailer stars Corey StollDavid Bradley, Richard Sammel, Kevin Durand, Rupert Penry-JonesMiguel Gomez, Ruta Gedmintas, Joaquín Cosio, Natalie BrownMax Charles, Samantha Mathis, Robin Atkin Downes, and Jonathan Hyde.

No rest for the weary, wicked, or stupid, as everyone seems to stop for a quick reassessment, next episode. As for the ‘Madness’ that ensues, that comes from Eph (Corey Stoll) going back to the show’s biohazard research roots, in worse shape than when he left it. A freshly scarred, but slightly battle hardened Justine Feraldo (Samantha Mathis) is feeling a little pressed for time; and is thus inclined to bring a whip to the procedural. Fet (Kevin Durand) gets back to his own rat catcher roots, and finding the mother of all Stinger nesting sites.

Of course, madness can make for strange bedfellows (like alcohol); so nobody get surprised if angry old men, like Setrakian & Palmer (David Bradley, Jonathan Hyde) find some common ground, over an expensive read.

‘Madness’ plot summery:

New information from the Lumen forces Setrakian to seek help from his lifelong nemesis, Eldritch Palmer. Eph’s new experiments to understand strigoi communication seemingly take him to the brink of madness while Fet is on a mission to discover strigoi movements across New York City.

I’m not sure I’d characterize Palmer  as Setrakian’s lifelong nemesis; but I’m fairly old & angry myself, so everybody gets a turn at the ‘get off my lawn’ treatment….

‘Madness’ airs Sunday, Sep. 25, at 10:00pm EST, on FX.
