Machinima Unveils First Teaser Trailer for Street Fighter: Resurrection. After the success of Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist, Machinima is continuing the saga with their new live-action miniseries Street Fighter: Resurrection, which focuses on character Charlie Nash.

The teaser trailer gives us a glimpse at martial arts actor Alain Moussi as video game character Charlie Nash, who appears to have a monstrous look in this adaptation. The upcoming miniseries will also bring back Mike Moh and Christian Howard as Ryu and Ken from the previous series. The miniseries will take place 10 years after the first series as Ryu and Ken reunite to face their most dangerous threat yet. A presumed dead Charlie Nash has returned, and is going after Street Fighter champions for some unknown reasons. It’s now up to Ryu and Ken to uncover his plans and find out if he is an ally or enemy.

The long awaited series will be Machinima’s first web series to air exclusively on go90. The new series will set the stage for Street Fighter V, which comes out a month before on February 16th, 2016. The miniseries will be five episodes long and will release on March 2016. For those of you worrying about what will happen to the sequel Street Fighter: World Warrior, rest assured that Joey Ansah still plans on making the follow-up to Assassin’s Fist in due time. The choreographer turned director announced the news on Facebook, telling fans that he is looking forward to the release of Street Fighter: Resurrection and hopes fans will enjoy it as much as his first series.
