2018 Sundance Film Festival Awards Winners

The Miseducation of Cameron Post, Kailash, Butterflies, and the other winners of the 2018 Sundance Film Festival Awards have been announced. The 34th Annual Sundance Film Festival Awards are the “culmination of the Sundance Film Festival…The competition juries, comprised of individuals from the worldwide film community with original and diverse points of view, select films from both the documentary and dramatic categories to receive a range of awards. Decided by Festivalgoers’ ballots, Audience Awards are bestowed upon films in each of the Festival’s four competition categories.”

A few highlights: The Miseducation of Cameron Post‘s plot is a provocative and I am guessing the film is as well since it earned the grand jury prize at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Search is an innovative film about technology that takes place almost entirely within technology. Search was the recipient of Alfred P. Sloan Feature Film Prize and won the NEXT Audience Award.
