New Promo Previews Upcoming Season of Supergirl. After tonight’s episode, CBS released an extended promo of what’s to come for this season of Supergirl. The preview gave us some first looks at some of the characters appearing on the show from Lucy Lane to the Red Tornado.
Moving to it’s regular time at 8PM, Supergirl goes into high gear this season as Kara (Melissa Benoist) faces enemies both on Earth and from Fort Rozz as she fights to protect National City. With her name being recognized in the city, Kara’s boss Cat Grant (Calistra Flockhart) will stop at nothing to get the scoop on Earth’s new hero. Things also get a little tangled for Kara in the romantic department after James Olsen’s (Mehcad Brooks) ex flame Lucy Lane (Jenna Dewan-Tatum) makes a quick stop in the city, derailing a possible relationship between James and Kara. Let’s not forget that Kara’s Aunt Astra (Laura Benanti) is still out there to stop her niece from ruining her plans to dominate Earth.
