Supergirl: Luthors Images
The CW has released some new images for the next new episode of Supergirl as we see the return of the Luthors, specifically with mother and daughter Lillian (Brenda Strong) and Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath). Could these two actually be working together against Kara (Melissa Benoist)?
For the new episode ‘Luthors’, we find out that Metallo (Frederick Schmidt) has escaped out of his cell and plans on freeing Lillian. The police put the blame on Lena and arrest her for letting Metallo escape. This doesn’t bode well with Lena, as Lillian tries to convince her daughter that the aliens are the enemy. Despite what everyone might think, Kara believes that her ally and friend is innocent. Before that even happened, we see that Lena visited her mother at the prison. What could be the reason behind this visit?
We also find out that James Olsen (Mehcad Brooks) injured himself and is being checked on at the DEO. Could he have possibly got that injury as the Guardian? If that’s the case, then who gave him that broken shoulder? Perhaps he may have fought against Metallo and didn’t come out victorious. Whatever the case, even James doesn’t believe Lena to be trustworthy. Maybe it has something to do with his past with her brother Lex Luthor. We also have a few shots of Snapper Carr (Ian Gomez) as he stays busy at CatCo, but maybe he has found a big scoop regarding the Luthors?
