Supergirl: Distant Sun Images
After that musical crossover with The Flash, Supergirl returns to it’s regular story during next week’s episode. The CW released some new images from the upcoming installment, giving us a peak at what’s happening in the hour, which is being directed by Kevin Smith.
We got an amazing episode last time Kevin Smith directed one on Supergirl this season, and he’ll be treating us with another potentially great episode. During Monday’s installment, Kara (Melissa Benoist) will be facing off against a bunch of alien bounty hunters after the Girl of Steel has a price on her head. With Kara repairing her relationship with Mon-El (Chris Wood), the only person in the way is his parents, particularly Rhea (Teri Hatcher). It appears that Rhea is inside the Fortress of Solitude, but what could be the reason for her showing up there? Perhaps it has something to do with Kara and Mon-El bringing her there. Maybe they plan on convincing her that they are right for each other?
Meanwhile, Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Maggie (Floriana Lima) bump into Maggie’s ex-girlfriend Emily (Hayley Sales). It will certainly be a weird encounter for the three, but will it get in the way of Alex and Maggie’s relationship? We also have other images showing some behind-the-scenes work behind the episode with Kevin Smith making sure everything runs smoothly. We have no doubt that he will pull off another amazing episode for the second season.
