New Images Featuring Superman and Lena Luthor Get Released
The CW unveiled some new official images from the second season of Supergirl giving us photos of Tyler Hoechlin as Superman and our first look at Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor. The new photos also reveal the return of Calista Flockhart, who is recurring as her character Cat Grant.
These new promo shots come from the first two episodes of Supergirl second season, which are titled ‘The Adventures of Supergirl’ and The Last Children of Krypton’. These images offer some great stills of Tyler Hoechlin as the Man of Steel in both his superhero outfit and his civilian getup as his alter ego Clark Kent. In one of the images, we see that there’s some tension between Superman and Martian Manhunter (David Harewood), which should turn some heads. We also get our first look at Katie McGrath as Lex Luthor’s sister Lena, who is trying to take over the family business after his brother’s incarceration. We even get to see Cat Grant make her return to the show as she checks in on Kara’s (Melissa Benoist) new gig at her company.
