TVLine exclusively revealed that the superhero crossover between The Flash and Supergirl has cast former Glee star Darren Criss as the Music Meister, which reunites him with his former co-stars Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist. Producer Andrew Kreisberg made a statement expressing his excitement at getting to work with Criss on the upcoming crossover: “With our Flash and our Supergirl being Glee alums, how could we not have them go up against another Glee favorite like Darren Criss? We have been blown away by his talent over the years and we can’t wait to see what he brings to the Music Meister.”

The upcoming musical crossover is set to begin on Monday, March 20th with Supergirl and then finish it off on Tuesday, March 21st with The Flash. Similar to the four-part crossover, the event starts at the end of Supergirl’s episode, leaving most of the action taking place in Central City in The Flash episode.

The Flash episode of the crossover is appropriately titled ‘Duet’. Regarding who will sing in the event, Entertainment Weekly revealed that Gustin, Benoist, Jesse L. Martin, Jeremy Jordan, Victor Garber, John Barrowman, and Carlos Valdes will all be lending their voices for a few songs. What do you guys think of Criss as the Music Meister?
