Plot Synopsis
Swamp Thing‘s plot synopsis: “Swamp Thing follows Abby Arcane (Reed) as she investigates what seems to be a deadly swamp-born virus in a small town in Louisiana but soon discovers that the swamp holds mystical and terrifying secrets. When unexplainable and chilling horrors emerge from the murky marsh, no one is safe.”
Cast and Crew
Swamp Thing stars Derek Mears, Andy Bean, Leonardo Nam, Virginia Madsen, Crystal Reed, Adrienne Barbeau, and Maria Sten.
Mark Verheiden and Gary Dauberman will write the screenplays for the series.
Len Wiseman will direct the pilot episode.
Thoughts
This is an agonizing teaser trailer. It shows many interesting things but it does not show a full shot of Swamp Thing (Derek Mears) or Swamp Thing doing something instead of coming out of the water (which the viewer saw in the previous teaser).
