Swamp Thing Trailer
DC Universe‘s Swamp Thing (2019) teaser trailer has been released. This Swamp Thing teaser doesn’t feature any of the principal cast of the upcoming superhero TV series besides Derek Mears portraying the physical incarnation of Swamp Thing. The tone of the teaser is good and many are pleased that Swamp Thing will be Rated-R.
Swamp Thing‘s plot synopsis: “Swamp Thing follows Abby Arcane (Reed) as she investigates what seems to be a deadly swamp-born virus in a small town in Louisiana but soon discovers that the swamp holds mystical and terrifying secrets. When unexplainable and chilling horrors emerge from the murky marsh, no one is safe.”
Swamp Thing also stars Andy Bean, Leonardo Nam, Virginia Madsen, Crystal Reed, Adrienne Barbeau, and Maria Sten.
Mark Verheiden and Gary Dauberman will write the screenplays for the series.
Len Wiseman will direct the pilot episode.
