I don’t know about the rest of you, but from the very first moment automated vehicles made it back to the ground, on this show, I’ve been counting the episodes until the inevitable crossing of modern wheeled convenience & future Grounder savagery.
For those you (or likely all of you) not picking up on the inference, I’m talking about The Road Warrior, baby!
It seems I wasn’t alone, either, ’cause the next installment of The 100 looks to be headed down Fury Road, in order to link its two current plot threads. There is, of course, a perfectly necessary reason for this trip, in case you were wondering.
The ‘We Will Rise’ Synopsis:
CLARKE AND ROAN WORK TOGETHER — Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Roan (Zach McGowan) must work together in hostile territory in order to deliver an invaluable asset to Abby (Paige Turco) and her team.
Well, I wasn’t. I’ve been waiting for any excuse for this sort of thing to go down, and I’m expecting the showrunners to deliver – no pressure (and evil grin emoji goes here).
If the thought of a Bellamy (Bob Morely), Clarke, and Roan road rager isn’t enough to get you in the mood, you could always mull over the fact that it won’t air until March 15th. Project that fury down the road, some.
