The BFG Trailer 2. The official second trailer for Steven Spielberg‘s The BFG (2016) movie trailer has been released. The new trailer features a clear look at the main protagonists (Sophie and The Big Friendly Giant) in the film as well as the protagonists (Bloodbottler, Fleshlumpeater, etc.). They show up at the end of the trailer and are quite surprising. Also surprising is how nimble the good giant (Mark Rylance) is, able to slip into a town of sleeping human beings, not make a sound, and disappear on a street loaded with street lights.
Lately, I have not been a fan of completely CGI creatures, not because of what they look like but because of how they are used in a film. In this trailer, the main character, completely CGI, is rather interesting to watch, especially at the beginning of the trailer.
The BFG also stars Rebecca Hall, Bill Hader, Jemaine Clement, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Penelope Wilton, Adam Godley, Ruby Barnhill, Michael Adamthwaite, Marilyn Norry, Callum Seagram Airlie, Jonathan Holmes, John Emmet Tracy, Daniel Bacon, and Haig Sutherland.
The BFG‘s plot synopsis: based on the book by Roald Dahl, “A girl named Sophie encounters the Big Friendly Giant who, despite his intimidating appearance, turns out to be a kindhearted soul who is considered an outcast by the other giants because unlike his peers refuses to eat boys and girls.”
