The Blacklist: Season 3’s plot synopsis:

In the third season of the hit NBC drama “The Blacklist,” FBI Agent Elizabeth “Liz” Keen (Megan Boone, “Law & Order: LA”) is now a fugitive and on the run with criminal mastermind Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader, “The Office,” “Boston Legal”). With Assistant FBI Director Harold Cooper (Harry Lennix “The Matrix,” “Ray”) under investigation, a conflicted Agent Donald Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff, “Homeland”) leads the FBI Task Force on a massive manhunt for Liz and Red – who are more dangerous together than apart, since Liz has expert knowledge of FBI procedures and no one exceeds Red’s vast resources. As they struggle to stay one step ahead of their former colleagues, and Liz immerses herself in Red’s underworld of disreputable contacts and covert operations, will the list of this season’s new Blacklisters play a key role in their survival or their demise?

The episode will feature James Spader, Megan Boone, Diego Klattenhoff, Ryan Eggold, Amir Arison, Mozhan Marno, Hisham Tawfiq, Harry Lennix, Zoli Dora, Ben Livingston, and Ray Proscia.

The trailer shows a man being rushed into a hospital. One of the doctors operating on him urges his colleagues to hurry because his pulse is dropping. We soon realize that it is Tom Keen, Liz’s ex-husband and a former employee of Reddington. Liz questions Reddington about Tom, suspecting that he might have been responsible for his condition. Reddington dismisses Tom as both reckless and dangerous before telling Liz that he’s “not worthy of being your husband” and definitely not fit to raise Liz’s child. The trailer closes with Liz looking heartbroken after hearing Reddington’s remarks before cutting to Tom lying unconscious and hooked to life support. Liz asks off-screen, “Please tell me he’s okay.”
