THE DARK KNIGHT RISES: Bane’s Potential Origin, Josh Pence Set Photo

Bane, Batman Comicbook

Bane (Tom Hardy)’s potential origin for The Dark Knight Rises is online. Whether Bane’s origin story would be a part of Christopher Nolan‘s The Dark Knight Rises (2012) has been dubious Batman speculation since The Joker (Health Ledger)’s wasn’t in The Dark Knight. A The Dark Knight Rises Facebook fan group member recently posted an update proclaiming that he had obtained a plot point leak from David S. Goyer, Christopher Nolan, and Jonathan Nolan‘s story and screenplay. This is in no way official and has been authenticated.

That The Dark Knight Rises Facebook fan group member, Lester Fernandes, wrote:

The Plot leak you’ve been waiting for: Eyewitnesses and crew members told us of a particular scene being filmed, where a bald-headed child wearing ragged clothes emerges from the well and pulls his hood over his head. From the conversations, we reckon this is a young Bane, emerging from a vat of Venom, trained by Pence’s Ra’s al Ghul. The years of addiction to Venom builds him to be a massive monster with amped up senses, intelligence and physical prowess.

The first thing I thought when I read this was if Ra’s al Ghul had access to Venom, why didn’t he and the other The League of Shadow members use it? How does a super-steroid effect intelligence? Is it like The Cure from Rise of the Planet of the Apes? Why would David S. Goyer, Christopher Nolan, and Jonathan Nolan discard the far superior, original Bane origin story, which we printed in its entirety here: The Dark Knight Rises: Tom Hardy First Batman (2012) Set Photo, in lieu of this weaker one?
