THE FINAL GIRLS (2015) Movie Posters: Slasher Spoof Gets Character Posters

The Final Girls Character Movie Posters Arrive

The Final Girls Character Movie Posters Arrive. Todd Strauss-Schulson‘s new film The Final Girls (2015) is a spoof of 1980s slasher films, in which a group of friends/acquaintances find themselves in summer camp, self-aware of the dire situation they’re in. It’s a promising premise, one that can go to the moon and back with intelligent comedy supporting it. If that’s the case, we’ll have to see, but the pedigree behind this is definitely strong.

For now, feast your eyes upon these dozen character sheets, one for each main archetype (I’d either be the cinephile or the boombox guy):

According to Birth.Movies.Death, “Todd Strauss-Schulson’s The Final Girls arrives in theaters today (read my SXSW review here), and if you can contrive to see it with a crowd, you definitely should. This would also be a great VOD title to watch during your monthly run of autumnal horror, especially if you’re not near a theater currently screening it, but it’s REALLY fun with a crowd, and you shouldn’t miss the experience if possible.”

The Final Girls stars Thomas Middleditch, Malin Akerman, Nina DobrevAlia ShawkatAdam DeVineAlexander LudwigAngela Trimbur and Tory N. Thompson.

The Final Girls‘ plot synopsis: “A young woman grieving the loss of her mother, a famous scream queen from the 1980s, finds herself pulled into the world of her mom’s most famous movie. Reunited, the women must fight off the film’s maniacal killer.”
