THE FLASH: First Image at Teddy Sears as Jay Garrick [The CW]

Grant Gustin Teddy Sears The Flash

First Look at Teddy Sears as Jay Garrick on The Flash. The freshman season of The Flash gave fans a tease of Jay Garrick on the show. Well, The CW hit series has finally released a first look at the world’s first speedster in a unique fashion that compares to the comics in a sense.

In the first official promo image of Teddy Sears as Jay Garrick, we see that it mirrors the cover of The Flash issue #123 that covers the storyline titled ‘Flash of Two Worlds. In the cover, we see a citizen shouting for The Flash for help and we see Barry Allen’s (Grant Gustin) version coming in one side while Jay Garrick’s one is coming from the other side. In the issue, Barry Allen gets transported to Keystone City where he meets with Golden Age Flash, Jay Garrick. This was the first time that Earth-2 was introduced in the comics, bringing in the concept of Multiverses. This will also happen on the show once the second season starts.
