THE FLASH: Gorilla City To Feature In Two-Part Episode [The CW]

Gorilla Grodd The Flash

Gorilla City will play a role in The Flash. The third season of the CW superhero program will also see Gorilla Grodd return in a two-part episode.

The psychic ape made his first appearance in the show’s second season, where he is shown being hurled into Earth-2. With the titular hero’s unintended creation of the Flashpoint universe at the end of the season however, it is possible that Gorilla City will exist in Earth-1:

Blinded by anger, Barry unwittingly plays into Zoom’s game and uncovers the evil speedster’s true goal: to destroy all Earths in the multiverse. In the race of his life, Barry ultimately gets the upper hand against Zoom and defeats his nemesis. But unable to celebrate victory, Barry makes a world-shaking decision and speeds back in time to the night his mother died to stop Reverse Flash from killing her, irrevocably changing his past and redetermining his future.

The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramo, Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells and Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West. Season 2 of the series also introduced Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West and the Earth-2 version of The Flash as played by John Wesley Shipp (who also played Barry’s father, Henry Allen). The Flash Season 3 premiere is already set to debut on The CW on Tuesday, October 4 at 8 PM ET.
