The Flash The Man Who Saved Central City Images. The CW has just unveiled some photos from the season 2 premiere of The Flash, which features Barry Allen facing off against Atom Smasher, the return of Harrison Wells and Firestorm, and Joe West packing some fire power.
The episode, titled ‘The Man Who Saved Central City’, will have the story pick up a few months after Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) saved his city from the big wormhole from last season’s big finale. With the portal open, it unleashed some villains like Atom Smasher (Adam Copeland) to cross over from the Earth-2 universe. Now The Flash and STAR Labs along with Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) and the CCPD must stop them from wreaking havoc upon the city. Speaking of STAR Labs, we also see the return of Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell) as Firestorm with him reuniting with his bride Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker), but how long will their reunion last? Another character who makes his return is Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh), who was supposedly killed off but makes a comeback. This could possibly be the Earth-2 version of the professor, but we won’t know until the new season airs.
