THE FOSTERING (2015) Movie Poster: Ancient Forces in Brazilian Horror

The Fostering Poster Arrives

The Fostering Movie Poster Arrives. Horror is in a fairly good place. There are more capably made, solid horror films coming out of European, South American, and Asian countries than ever before, it seems. The Fostering (2015) is another entry in that long list, and judging from the synopsis and poster alone, they have my attention.Take a look at the poster below, and tell us what you think! I like this poster, the soft, basic art-style and color palette. It reminds of classic old horror tales, scary pulp novels and the art from classic VHS horror films. This is a nostalgia that many modern horror films reach for.

According to Twitch, ” Brazilian horror feature The Fostering (O Diabo Mora Aqui) is about to be unleashed upon the festival circuit in October at the Sitges Film Festival – where it was selected for the Brigadoon section. Directed by Dante Vescio and Rodrigo Gasparini (the duo behind the short M Is For Mailbox), the movie tells the story of four teenagers caught up in the midst of a war between ancient forces in a country house in the middle of nowhere. Producer M. M. Izidoro has released the first poster for the movie and the art gives us a small hint of the creepy stuff to come.
