THE HOME (2016) Movie Poster: An Ancient Evil Descends Upon a Covenant

The Home

The Home Movie Poster Released. Having not heard of this project until today, I must say I’m fairly excited about and anticipating this film. The poster looks great – I love these simple designs that tell you something about the film, but not too much, all the while hinting at a dark, self-aware image of itself as a horror film. What’s more exciting, though, is the actual plot of the film, itself. Check it out below once you’ve taken a look at the poster!

According to Twitch, “The Home is the latest proof-of-concept/short from director L. Gustavo Cooper (June, Velvet Road). Teamed up with actor/writer Peter Cilella (Resolution) the project is set in Ireland at a 19th century home for pregnant women out of wedlock, The Home tells the story of a young pregnant woman fighting for her sanity (and her unborn child) as an ancient evil descends on the convent.

Starring Alex Essoe (Starry Eyes, Passion Play), Andy McPhee (Wolf Creek, Sons of Anarchy) and Produced by Devin Ward (The Invitation, Parallels) Duane A. Sikes (June, Velvet Road) and L. Gustavo Cooper, the finished project will appear in festival circuits spring of 2016.”
