The Knick Trailer. Cinemax‘s The Knick (2014) TV show teaser trailer entitled ‘Visceral,’ helmed by Steven Soderbergh, stars Clive Owen, Jeremy Bobb, Steve Garfanti, Andre Holland, and Eric Johnson. The Knick’s plot synopsis: “The show takes place in New York City during the early 1900s at the Knickerbocker Hospital – the location whose nickname gives the series its title. It was one of the most revolutionary institutions in treating polio, alcoholism and gynecology, chronicles the lives of the employees of New York’s Knickerbocker General Hospital, including Clive Owen’s Dr. John W. Thackery.
The Knick also stars Juliet Rylance, Joseph Scarpino, Cara Seymour, Chris Sullivan, Grainger Hines, Zuzanna Szadkowski, David Fierro, Ying Ying Li, and Lucas Papaelias.
