Ebon Moss-Bachrach And Amber Rose Revah Cast In The Punisher

Marvel reveals that Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Amber Rose Revah have been cast in roles in Netflix‘s upcoming Punisher series.

The two actors will also be joined by Ben Barnes, who was previously reported to be attached to the project but whose involvement was only confirmed today. Barnes is set to play Special Forces operative-turned-private military contractor Billy Russo, while Moss-Bachrach will portray former NSA analyst Micro and Revah will play Dinah Madani, a Homeland Security official at odds with the Punisher.

Although both Russo and Micro appeared in the comics, Madani appears to be an original creation for the TV program:

“I’m really excited about the cast we’re assembling alongside Bernthal as Frank Castle,” said showrunner and Executive Producer Steve Lightfoot. “I look forward to watching Ben, Ebon and Amber embody these characters and breathe vivid life into the story we are crafting for this season of ‘Marvel’s The Punisher.’”

“We couldn’t be more thrilled about the remarkable talent joining Jon Bernthal in ‘Marvel’s The Punisher.’ Ebon, Ben and Amber are incredibly talented actors and we can’t wait to see them bring these characters to life,” said Jeph Loeb, Executive Producer and Marvel’s Head of Television.

Marvel’s The Punisher is part of an overall deal between Marvel Television and Netflix, which has already released the critically-acclaimed seasons of Marvel’s DaredevilMarvel’s Jessica Jones and Marvel’s Luke Cage, with Marvel’s Iron Fist coming on March 17, 2017.
