Jon Bernthal The Punisher

Five Actors Join The Cast Of Netflix’s The Punisher

Daniel Webber, Jason R. Moore, Paul Schulze, Jaime Ray Newman, and Michael Nathanson all sign on to Netflix‘s upcoming Punisher series.

Each of the newly-announced cast members will portray supporting characters in the Marvel Comics TV adaptation. Webber is slated to play veteran Louis Walcott, Moore will play Frank Castle’s friend Curtis Hoyle, and Schulze will portray CIA official Rawlins. Rounding out the cast are Newman and Nathanson as Sarah Lieberman and Homeland Security agent Sam Stein:

“Marvel TV is very proud of the cast of The Punisher,” said Executive Producer Jeph Loeb. “Each actors brings a special promise who surround Jon Bernthal’s exceptional performance.”

Two of these new characters, Curtis Hoyle and Rawlins, can be found in the pages of Punisher comics from Marvel with the other three being new creations for the series.

Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as Frank Castle from Marvel’s Daredevil where he’s joined by newcomers Ben Barnes as Billy Russo (the civilian name of the villain Jigsaw), Frank’s Castle’s best friend from his days in the Special Forces who runs a successful private military corporation called “Anvil;” Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Micro, a former NSA analyst whose secrets may be of great value to Frank Castle and everyone around them; and Amber Rose Revah (Indian Summers, Son of God) as Dinah Madani; a highly-trained sophisticated Homeland Security agent who is vexed by the Punisher.
