The first trailer for The Taking of Pelham 123 (2009) has premiered. It is directed by Tony Scott and stars John Travolta and Denzel Washington. The film is based on a book of the same title by Morton Freedgood, who wrote it under the pseudonym John Godey. The Taking of Pelham 123 has already been adapted three times in the past, once theatrically 1974 and once for television in 1998. This third version seems like it will be the best of the bunch.
