AMC‘s The Walking Dead: Season 6 TV show trailer from the San Diego Comic-Con International stars Andrew Lincoln, Chandler Riggs, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, and Sonequa Martin-Green. The Walking Dead: Season 6’s plot synopsis: tensions rise in Alexandria as two groups of its citizens begin jockeying for supremacy: the group led by Rick Grimes and the one that begins to look toward Morgan for guidance and wisdom about the outside world.
This trailer began and ended in a fantastic way. I would say Andrew Lincoln dominated the proceedings. What Rick Grimes is becoming, more and more like The Governor every day, that evolution, is the trailer’s center piece. The other central issue is the people of Alexandria becoming afraid of Rick Grimes and what he represents.
Via the 2015 San Diego Comic Con, we have learned the Season 6 premiere will be 90-minutes, instead of the standard 60-minute episode.
On the The Walking Dead: Season 6 Preview Special and Season 1-5 Marathon:
There will be a Talking Dead Season 6 Preview Special, which will premiere Sunday, August 23rd at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. Hosted by Chris Hardwick, the special will give fans an early look at what to expect in the upcoming season of The Walking Dead, along with exclusive interviews with cast members and executive producers and behind-the-scenes moments.
Fans can also catch up on seasons one through five with a “5 Sundays/5 Seasons” Marathon. Each Sunday, AMC will air a single season of the critically-acclaimed hit beginning Sunday, July 26 at 2:30 p.m. ET/PT through Sunday, August 23.
