The X-Files Mulder & Scully Meet the Were-Monster Promo. Fox‘s The X-Files: Season 10, Episode 3: Mulder & Scully Meet the Were-Monster TV show trailer stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson. Agents Mulder and Scully will face off against a hideous creature in the episode.
The X-Files: Season 10’s plot synopsis: Fox Mulder and Dana Scully reunite to investigate a conspiracy much bigger than either previously imagined. Learning that the government, not aliens, are responsible for UFOs and abductions, the two veteran FBI agents set out to expose the conspirators and other things that go bump in the night.
The episode will feature David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Mitch Pileggi, Kumail Nanjiani, Rhys Darby, Tyler Labine, Alex Diakun, D.J. Pierce, and Virgil Davies.
The trailer shows Mulder and Scully responding to reports of a strange beast terrorizing a rural area. Scully warns that they are “in deep trouble” and Mulder is happy to learn that they’re working on a case with a monster in it. We never get a good look at the monster, but fast point-of-view shots portray it’s pursuit of prey, treating viewers to plenty of footage of bystanders screaming as it moves upon them. Towards the end of the trailer, Mulder concludes that they are looking for a “man-sized horned lizard with human teeth”, prompting Scully to say “Mulder, the Internet is not good for you.” It ends with Mulder turning around rapidly in response to a growl behind him, nervously flashing his camera into the dark before cutting to Scully racing around the rear end of a truck and shakily calling his name.
