THOR: RAGNAROK (2017): Filming Begins in Australia for Threequel

Production Commences in Australia for Thor: Ragnarok. Shooting for the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok has officially begun this week in Australia. The threequel had begun filming as director Taika Waititi starting rolling the cameras for Thor’s anticipated adventure.

With filming already starting, Taika Waititi and his crew cracked down into production at Queensland, Australia. Waititi tweeted a BTS picture on Twitter say, “@MrPeytonReed @louisde2 Pretty sweet 1st day. Look at all these people who turned up to work.” In response to the news, Peyton Reed congratulated the team on starting production on the film. The Ant-Man director tweeted to his fellow director, “Congrats to @TaikaWaititi and @bradwinderbaum on Day 1 of principal photography on THOR: RAGNAROK! (Taika, remember: explosions!).” Marvel co-president Louis D’Esposito also congratulated the director on Twitter saying, “Best of luck to @TaikaWaititi and the whole cast and crew of #ThorRagnarok. July 4 they started filming. Australia is in the future.”
