Mark Ruffalo Says Hulk and Thor May Have a Rematch in Thor: Ragnarok. That scuffle between Thor and Hulk in The Avengers was one of the best fights in the film, and now it looks like the two superheroes will be at it again in a rematch when they come together in Thor: Ragnarok.
Speaking with the Daily News, Mark Ruffalo teased about the upcoming brawl that might come once Hulk and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) team up in the threequel. “I don’t really know that much about it, but I think it’s going to be a buddy picture with Thor and Bruce Banner,” Ruffalo said. “I think they’ll probably fight. There’s no doubt, everyone wants us to fight at one point.”
In the new film, the plot will reportedly focus on a distant planet that isn’t Asgard or Earth. It’s not clear what this planet is, but rumors are going around that Planet Hulk may be a possible storyline. We last saw Hulk leaving in a jet during Avengers: Age of Ultron to separate himself from the team. His last known location was unknown, but it was speculated in the film that his jet crashed and then swam to Fiji, although it is also possible that the green brute may have went into outer space.
Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Ragnarok will be released on November 3rd, 2017 in 2D, 3D and IMAX.
