THUNDERBOLTS: Netflix Possibly Developing Marvel TV Series on the Supervillain Team

Thunderbolts

Marvel Rumored to Develop Netflix Series Based on the Thunderbolts. With a positive vibe coming from next year’s Suicide Squad, it won’t be long before Marvel also does  a supervillain team-up. Rumors are swirling that Netflix are developing a show based on the Thunderbolts.

The Hashtag Show has given word that Marvel will be teaming up with Netflix on another TV project, which will be based on the supervillain team called the Thunderbolts. We already know Marvel’s plan to release their slate of shows every six months, so it will be interesting to see how the Thunderbolts would fit into all this. So far, Netflix has already released Daredevil, with Jessica Jones to soon follow sometime this year.

Created in 1997, the Thunderbolts were a team of supervillains posing as heroes. Originally as an anti-hero story, the Thunderbolts soon went into different changes as the universe got bigger and the line up changes. The most well known line up change came when the likes of Norman Osborn, Punisher, Bullseye, and Thunderbolt Ross were part of the team.

We would like to point out that some potential team members have already made their debut in films and TV shows such as Crossbones, Absorbing Man, and Mr. Hyde. It would make sense for Netflix to tackle this approach to the MCU by looking at the villains at their disposal and use them to make a show based on them, similar to DC’s Suicide Squad. What do you guys think?
