The Comic-Con International: San Diego Tron 2 (Tr2n) footage/trailer is badass for three reason: Jeff Bridges has reprised his role as Kevin Flynn from the first Tron, the CGI is badass and the action is good. At first I thought why make a sequel to such a crappy movie. Sure Tron had a great concept but the film was extremely weak. Now that computer generated effects are at a level to handle the ideas, images and concepts from the Tron universe, I have changed my mind (especially after this footage). What is also cool is that Tron‘s original director and writer, Steven Lisberger, is a producer on the film and a creative force behind it.
