Bad Judge (ABC)
Ryan McPartlin has been tapped for an arc opposite Kate Walsh on NBC’s single-camera comedy Bad Judge. It centers on Rebecca (Walsh), a hard-living, sexually unapologetic woman whose life on the edge is constantly in balance because she also happens to be a judge in the criminal court system. McPartlin…will play Billy the Fireman, a love interest for Rebecca.
Power (Starz)
JR Ramirez, who recurred on the first season of Starz’s drama series Power, has been promoted to regular for Season 2. Ramirez…plays Julio, second in command to Tommy (Joseph Sikora).
Blind script deal at ABC Studio
Connor Hines, creator and star of the web comedy series Local Attraction, has landed a blind script deal at ABC Studio to write, star in and executive produce a half-hour project.
Westworld (HBO)
Miranda Otto has joined the project…Otto will play Virginia Pittman, the head of the Quality Assurance department whose brutal honesty with her colleagues and her ruthless efficiency in dealing with malfunctioning “property” have made her a formidable and unpredictable power player in Westworld.
