Jane The Virgin (The CW)

[Jane The Virgin has been renewed.] Jane The Virgin is holding ground on Monday, helping the night to post big year-to-year gains. Jane held very well in its second airing last night, currently running a tenth ahead of last Monday’s premiere.

The Bridge (FX)

The series didn’t improve in the ratings or critical reception [in season 2], leading to today’s cancellation.

The series got off to a strong start on July 10, 2013, debuting to 3.04 million viewers in Live+Same Day, a number that jumped up in Live+3 to 4.64 million viewers to become the network’s biggest launch ever. But by the end of Season 1, the show had lost half of its audience, with the first season finale drawing 1.5 million in L+SD.

Faking It (MTV)

Red Band Society (Fox)

Fox is keeping its freshman drama Red Band Society in contention for a back episodic order with a pickup of four additional scripts. The hospital drama launched to solid reviews but has been soft in the ratings. Still, a couple of weeks in, its numbers stabilized, and last Wednesday the series (1.0 among adults 18-49 in Live+SD) actually logged a one-tenth week-to-week uptick. Additionally, the drama starring Octavia Spencer has been a major DVR gainer, getting 70-80% ratings increases in Live+7.
