How To Get Away With Murder: Season 3, Episode 8: No More Blood underwhelms in its reveals of who betrays the Keating Five as well as who dies.
Well, calling it a reveal might be a bit misleading: people who watched the previous week’s episode already knew that Wes (Alfred Enoch) testified anonymously against Annalise (Viola Davis) in exchange for immunity. So as you can imagine, it kind of took the sting out of Thursday night’s reveal that the person who betrayed Annalise to the police was… the person who betrayed her to the police in the last episode. Further weakening the impact of this revelation was the way it was almost sidelined in order to make way for additional plotlines and developments such as Annalise agreeing to represent Middelton President Hargrove (Lauren Luna Velez) and Connor (Jack Falahee) and Oliver (Conrad Ricamora) revisiting their feelings for each other, giving viewers more to keep up with but less time to take it all in.
As for the question of who dies, it would appear that it was none other than the recently-returned Frank (Charlie Weber). At least, that’s what it would seem after he confronted Annalise and admitted regret for causing her to miscarry her son. Egged on by her to finish what he went there to do and shoot her, Frank becomes conflicted when Bonnie (Liza Weil) begs him not to over Annalise’s defiant urging. We don’t actually see him turn the gun on himself, but it’s the only thing we can deduce happened at this point, with other possible outcomes having to wait to be revealed until the show returns in a few months.
