The Walking Dead Last Day on Earth Uncensored Negan Scene
On the Season 6 Blu-ray for The Walking Dead, the uncensored Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan)’s introduction scene is available. With the result of that scene airing tonight at 9 P.M., we thought it was the appropriate time to reflected on the scene. The result of that scene can be viewed here.
From the comic book, I was aware of Negan’s love for the word f*ck. Because The Walking Dead is on AMC and not HBO, certain words can’t be spoken. F*ck is one of them. The uncensored Negan TV clip from The Walking Dead: Season 6, Episode 16: Last Day on Earth is filled with that word.
Its fascinating to watch, not just because of the word’s usage, but because of the two different ways the scene was shot. Most TV show productions don’t have the budget to shoot a scene in two different ways. The Walking Dead is unlike any other TV show in history. I am sure AMC gave The Walking Dead producers extra money to shot certain scenes in two different ways for the sole benefit of home release purchasers.
The Walking Dead: Season 6, Episode 16: Last Day on Earth‘s plot synopsis: “Morgan crosses paths with a new group of survivors while searching for Carol. Meanwhile, Rick and the group travel to the Hilltop with an ailing Maggie, leading to a daunting confrontation with the man himself.”
