The short takes place around 15 years before the first episode of Game of Thrones and is based around the events prior to Robert’s Rebellion.
When a person reads George R. R. Martin‘s A Song of Ice and Fire, they will come across the alluded to story of the love quadrangle between Brandon Stark (Shane Gibson), Petyr Baelish (Curtis Worrell), Catelyn Tully (Elisha Gormley), and Lysa Tully (Jenny Edgar).
Seeing that story brought to life is something I never expected. This short film is pretty creative in that it is not just about the duel between Brandon Stark and Petyr Baelish. It is also about the world, and the underbelly of that world, that existed during Brandon Stark’s time period.
In that respect, The Wild Wolf short film is like the A Tale of Benjen Stark short film.
