WOLVERINE: Third Solo Film to Shoot Early Next Year

Third Wolverine Movie to Begin Filming in 2016. The last Wolverine movie became a hit with audiences everywhere, and now James Mangold is returning to direct the third Wolverine film. Little info was given on the upcoming film, except that production will start next year, according to Mangold.

James Mangold tweeted with a fan saying that production is set for “early next year.” Writer David James Kelly is currently writing the screenplay for the film, which according to Mangold will adapt another Wolverine story from the comics. There is also the possibility to see Patrick Stewart reprise his role as Professor Xavier in the next Wolverine film as he teams up with Logan. Before going on his third solo outing, Wolverine is set to appear in the upcoming film X-Men: Apocalypse, which releases next year.

Starring Hugh Jackman, the third Wolverine movie is scheduled for release on March 3, 2017.
