Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman to Start Filming This Fall. Wonder Woman will start her own solo adventure in 2017, but filming is about to begin a lot sooner than expected. Director Michelle MacLaren and Gal Gadot are set to begin shooting the film later this fall.

Deadline first reported the news of Wonder Woman getting prepped for shooting during the third quarter of 2015. The Walking Dead director will be directing the film featuring a script written by Jason Fuchs. Gal Gadot will be making her first appearance as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

There hasn’t been any word on what Wonder Woman’s first solo film will be about. Rumors suggest that Warner Bros. is planning on making Wonder Woman into a trilogy with the first one taking place in the 1920s, according to Bleeding Cool. The first movie will also focus on Diana’s home Themyscira and it’s first appearance in the outside world as well as Diana’s own experiences in America.

Wonder Woman is set to release on June 23, 2017.
